Practice: Interventions, Readdressing Heritage & contested sites
This project involved contacting the various authorities, introducing your project, requesting permission for being on the premises, interventions and inviting them to be present on the day of the final presentation with our findings, proposals and suggestions. Restoring, repurposing, readdressing old / heritage buildings & contested sites including graveyards which have been turned into recreational parks for the public.
This practice of walking expanded towards fields of walking as protest (marching / walking with purpose). This curatorial format of walking also highlighted issues of pollution, environmental hazards, and mental health including homelessness and its consequences and the possibilities it suggests for sustainable futures.
